Little Man, Big Grudge (X Marks the Spot)

This light projection & video surveillance sculpture installation was shown at the Vox Populi gallery in Philadelphia, PA in 1998. The viewers were encouraged to stand on the X that was on the gallery floor just in front of the piece. While standing on the X, the surveillance camera that was mounted on a nearby column captured the viewer and displayed a closeup of their face on the surveillance monitor on the floor in front of them. The live feed of the viewers face had a small skull and crossbones image projected onto it by a small figure slumped over the "light cannon" that was on the floor between the viewer and the monitor.
